HOW HAS GOOGLE BECOME THE MOST SUCCESSFUL COMPANY IN THE WORLD ?

How has Google become the most successful company in the world?

There may be no evidence of Google's success more than the fact that it has already become a basic need for every Internet user. We use Google to get information on a daily basis as if we drink water.
Google has grown as a company that goes beyond research to innovation and development, and in this article we will take a look at some of the interesting aspects of Google's success story.

Google's original activity was to create algorithms to help people quickly rank through the rapidly growing content that is being introduced online. Instead of using editors and researchers to organize specific query links, Google began to build algorithms that recorded the content it was handling against certain criteria. These included new concepts such as links from reliable sources as well as standard metrics such as frequency of keywords and page titles. All of these pieces came together on the requested page or so called that decides to display the desired topic according to the specified query.

With this approach, Google has been able to deliver more accurate results than many of its current search engines. The algorithm - and still - has been constantly being developed and updated to give users the most relevant results. As Google started to be strong and kept improving for the better, Google became the Internet's search engine in a few years.

Adwords Search Revenue

Once again, Google began tweaking and updating the Adwords platform in the same way as it did with search engine algorithms. Within three years, Adwords was automatically converted into pay-per-click ads, bringing the concept of digital advertising relevance. Google did not simply focus on selling ads to advertisers on any keyword, and instead offered relevant ads that resulted in more clicks and more revenue on Google.

To this day, Adwords generates automatic profits that fund Google's activities. Adwords was followed by Adsense, which allowed anyone with a website to access Google's ad inventory, resulting in making Google effectively dominating digital advertising.

Digital power

Google began to innovate seriously. Some moves were obvious, such as Google's deployment and access to digital assets that would bring more revenue-driven advertising with increased traffic and increased ad space with increased content.

These included YouTube (YouTube acquired in 2005), Google Maps (2005), Blogger (2003Blogger) and Google Finance (2006 Google Finance).

Google has also created a number of sites and web applications that were not initially created to monetize ads. Google Books is part of this latter category because it is a repository of online books where ads play a very small role.  Google News is an instant collection of current content from thousands of news sources.

Innovation on the Internet

Google continues to increase its advertising revenue and improve sites and services that are more profitable than ads. For many of us, it's hard to remember what search was before autocomplete and instant results, a rare title that can not be easily defined in Google Maps. Of course, continuing to improve key products by doing core business and dedication to continuous innovation is the most interesting factor in Google's continuing success story.

Minimum profits

Google has two main components. The first is a search engine that is favored by most people in the world. The second is a self-service advertising network that generates profits from Google's search engine and many digital assets. Google uses this revenue to pay quick prototypes of new ideas, which often grow into new sources of revenue. This simple model allowed Google to freely execute projects even if the revenue was not immediately apparent.

However, Google has encountered failures. For example, Google's video has been canceled with the acquisition of YouTube, and Google+ for corporate social media seems to be phasing out.

Whether it is a staggering failure or a quiet retreat, the fact of failure has not changed the way and style of Google to get the prototype into beta and then repeat it based on user data.

If the product does not bring enough users, it is filled again and again to bring new idea to the world as for Google, it always seems to have another idea.
